WARREN W. MULDER
Warren William Mulder, the son of Jake and Gertrude (Reekers) Mulder was born January 2, 1937 in Sheldon, Iowa. He received his education, first in schools in Sheldon and then when he moved with his family to Primghar, he later graduated from Primghar High School in 1955. After graduation, he worked various jobs in the Primghar area until joining the Army serving from 1960 until 1962. He returned to Primghar, where he began his employment at Nicholson-Edwards Elevator. He was married to Cheryl Hintz from 1972 until 1984. Warren worked for the Nicholson-Edwards for a total of 36 years, retiring in 1999. He then was employed part-time at Pro-Go in Primghar. He passed away on Monday, March 3, 2008 at his home in Primghar, reaching the age of 71 years, 2 months and 1 day.
He was a member of the American Reformed Church in Primghar, and enjoyed his morning coffee at Pro-Go. He was an Iowa Hawkeye and Minnesota Viking fan.
Warren is survived by one son, Jonathon and his wife, Kim Hintz of Primghar; two daughters, Lynn and her husband, Brett Koontz of Hartley and Shane Ohrt and Mark Snyder of Sanborn; nine grandchildren, Daniel, Taylor, Michael, Nicholas, Marshal, Mikayla, Hunter, Samantha and Taryn; a brother, Robert “Jake” and his wife, Rosie Mulder of Primghar; a sister, Janice and her husband, Marvin Petersen of Paullina; two sisters-in-law, Jo Ellen Mulder of Germantown, Wisconsin and Jean Kennedy of Okoboji, Iowa; his special dog ,Bella who he has had for 9 years; also nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Henry and Jake Jr.
