TINA M. JACOBSEN
Tina Marie Jacobsen, the daughter of David and Judy (McGinty) Droullard was born January 5, 1967 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She moved to Cherokee with her family and received her education graduating from Cherokee Washington High School in 1985. On July 1, 1994, she was united in marriage to Ray Jacobsen in Cherokee, Iowa. After their marriage the couple made their home in Meriden, Iowa. Tina was employed at the Cherokee Villa Nursing Home first as a cook and working her way up to be the dietary manager for the nursing home. She passed away at her home on Saturday, June 13, 2015 reaching the age of 48 years, 5 months and 8 days.
Tina enjoyed family time, camping and the outdoors, cooking and embroidering.
Tina leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Ray of Meriden, Iowa; two daughters, Jessica Jacobsen of Meriden, Iowa and Emma Jacobsen Phipps of Primghar, Iowa; her parents, Judy and Hank Phipps of Primghar, Iowa; one brother, David Droullard of Meriden, Iowa; also aunts, uncles and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Cheryl and her grandparents.
