TANNER A. BECKER
Tanner Andrew Becker, the son of Mark and Julie (Moret) Becker, was born April 18, 1995 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He lived with his family in the Granville and Hospers area and attended school in Sheldon. He would have started the 5th grade at the Sheldon Middle School. On September 10, 2005, Tanner joined his heavenly father, surrounded by his loving family members after a 3 year courageous battle with cancer, reaching the age of 10 years, 4 months and 22 days.
He attended the Methodist Church in Sheldon and was involved with the youth club. Tanner loved all sports; he was a Iowa Hawkeye Fan, a Minnesota Viking and Twins Fan and was a Sheldon Orab Fan.
Tanner leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Mark and Julie Becker of rural Granville, Iowa; a sister, Elle at home; his maternal grandmother, Susan Moret of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; his paternal grandparents, Don and Georgia Becker of Hospers, Iowa; a paternal great-grandmother, Cleo Lechtenberg of Granville, Iowa; also aunts, uncles and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Verle “Andy” Moret.
Tanner will be missed by all his family and friends.
