SHARLA B. (HULST) WOHLERT
Sharla B. (Hulst) Wohlert, the daughter of John Jr. and Agnes (Roozing) Hulst was born on May 15, 1953 in Sioux Center, Iowa. She moved with her parents to California, where she attended elementary school in Bellflower, California. In her 5th grade year they moved to Hull, Iowa where she finished her education and graduated from Boyden-Hull High School in 1971. Sharla worked at several jobs including K-Products, Home Maker Help and as a telephone operator. She had been married to Dennis Vander Vegte, John (Jack) Rosentrader and Daniel Wohlert. Sharla had lived in Sheldon for a short period before moving to Le Mars, Iowa in 2011 after her husband, Dan Wohlerts death. Sharla passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars, Iowa reaching the age of 61 years and 19 days.
She was a member of the Rejoice Reformed Church in Le Mars. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, Bible Study with friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Gina (Vander Vegte) and her husband, Abel Ramos of Seattle, Washington; Holly (Vander Vegte) and her husband, Blair Sheriff of Elliottsburg, Pennsylvania; 6 grandchildren, Kinsey and Karen Cooper and Abel Ramos Jr.; Ellie, Chase and Sophia Sheriff; her mother, Agnes Hulst of Sheldon, Iowa; a sister, Shannon and her husband, Dennis Baack of Sheldon; a brother and his wife, Harlan and Norma Hulst of San Diego, California; and other relatives and friends.
Sharla was preceded in death by two husbands, Dennis Vander Vegte and Daniel Wohlert and her father John Hulst Jr..
