Funeral services for Sandra Sue Gadberry, age 71, of Sheldon, Iowa, who passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the Sanford Health Center Senior Care in Sheldon. There will be no services; her body was donated to the University of Iowa Medical School in Iowa City, Iowa.

Sandra Sue Gadberry, the daughter of James and Lois (Matthews) Kreykes was born August 10, 1939 in Sheldon, Iowa. She started elementary school in Sheldon and finished her education in Los Angeles, California. Sue was united in marriage to Larry Gadberry on June 23, 1956 in Los Angeles County in California, the young couple made their home in Los Angeles for 16 years. In 1972, they moved to Texas for 9 years, in 1981 they moved to Sheldon, Iowa, in 1986, they moved to Phoenix, Arizona and in 1987 they moved back to Los Angeles, California for 4 years. After Larry retired in 1991, they moved back to Sheldon. Sandra passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the Sanford Sheldon Medical Center in Sheldon, reaching the age of 71 years and 2 days.
Sue enjoyed going to the casinos and playing the slot machines; she also enjoyed fishing and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Larry of Sheldon; three sons, David and Brian Gadberry both of Sheldon, Iowa and Steve and his wife, Dianne Gadberry of Olathe, Kansas; four grandchildren, Cody, Kyle, Ryan and Keith Gadberry; two sisters-in-law, Clarice Kreykes and Darlene Kreykes both of Sheldon, Iowa; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Bob, Norman and Gene Kreykes; and a sister, Eleanor Jordan.
