Roger David Reinhardt Krekow, died at his home in Sacramento, California, on February 11, 2005.
Roger David Reinhardt Krekow, the son of Martin C. (Pete) Krekow and Lillian F. (Richardson) Krekow, was born August 18, 1958, in Hartley, Iowa. He received his education in Sutherland, graduating from Sutherland High School in 1976. He graduated from Westmar College, in LeMars, Iowa and then proceeded on to post-graduated work at the University of Iowa and the University of Hawaii.
He spent much of his life in Hawaii, where he was the International Choir Director at Brigham Young University of Hawaii for a number of years. He recently returned to Sacramento County, California, where he opened a performing arts studio. Much of his time was spent devoted to the performing arts up until the time of his passing.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Madison, of Valley Springs, California; a son, Max, also of Valley Springs, California; his mother, Lillian, of Sutherland, Iowa; brother, Pete, of Sutherland, Iowa; sister, Jean, and her husband, Randy of Paullina, Iowa; brother, Bill and his wife Bobbi of Spirit Lake, Iowa; other relatives and many friends and former students.
His father, Martin C. Krekow, a longtime builder and contractor, of Sutherland, preceded him in death in 1971.

Arrangements are under the care of the Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home of Paullina, Iowa.
