ROBERT D. CULLITON
Robert Dean Culliton, the son of James and Beverly (Hofer) Culliton was born on March 10, 1971, in Sioux City, Iowa. He received his education through high school in Sioux City. After receiving his education, he moved to Village Northwest in Sheldon. While at the village he worked at Northwest Enterprises (Summit). Robert passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Sanford Sheldon Medical Center at the age of 53 years, 10 months, and 8 days.
Even though Bob was never able to accomplish the things in life that the world sees as a success, Bob was able to accomplish much more than material things. Bob was able to laugh and love like no other. His ability to turn your bad day into a good day was unmatched. His contagious laughter and goofy personality were the cures. He was always looking to prank anyone in his sight, whether that be his way of scaring you or offering you one of his noise making toys and taking it back at the last second. Nobody was safe. Bob enjoyed being the center of attention. No matter the number of people in the room or how big the room was, you knew where Bob was sitting. His love of eating was unmatched. The survival rate for pizza, candy, coffee, and Dr Pepper that was set in front of him was 0%. He was never full. He definitely ate his money's worth at the buffet. His random dancing and his love for anything Christmas will be missed. He is free from his earthly burdens and is now enjoying dancing in the streets of heaven and seeing the reason for Christmas firsthand. Robert Dean Culliton, you will be missed, but I'd rather see you pain free with our Lord.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Todd Culliton; guardians Andrew and Kari Rutledge and their children, Karli and Chad; special aunt, Doreen Van Tilburg; other relatives and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
