ROBERT CARL KRAUSE

Robert Carl Krause, the son of Carl and Bertha (Girthoffer) Krause, was born November 2, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended St. Marys Elementary and Ryan High School in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended Creighton University for his undergraduate and graduate degrees. On March 3, 1972, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Lovely at Holy Cross Church in Omaha, Nebraska.
The couple lived in Omaha where they raised their two children, Becky Dau of Paullina, Iowa and John Krause of Phoenix, Arizona. Bob was a banker and a small business owner. The couple moved to Paullina in 2004 to be closer to the grandchildren and retire.
Robert was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Sutherland. He volunteered at Orange City Hospital and helped at the Soup Kitchen in Sioux City. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and was interested in their many activities.
Robert is survived by his wife, Kathleen; his daughter, Becky and her husband, Chad Dau of Paullina, Iowa; his son, John Krause of Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren, Mary Krause of Des Moines, Iowa; Evan, Hannah, and Logan Dau of Paullina, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He will be missed and was tremendously loved.
