Robert R. Budden, age 64, of Sheldon, Iowa, formerly of Ashton, Iowa, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Sanford Senior Care in Sheldon, Iowa. Memorial Services will be Monday, February 5, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ashton, Iowa. Father Siby Punnoose officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 to 10:15 A.M. prior to the service on Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ashton. Graveside Service and burial of cremains at St. Mary Cemetery in Ashton following the memorial service. Robert Raymond Budden was born on March 16, 1953 in Sheldon, Iowa. He was the son of Edwin and Anna Marie (Klein) Budden. He lived his youth on the family farm in rural Ashton. He attended grade school in Ashton and graduated from Sheldon High School. Robert was mechanically inclined and liked to work with machinery. He worked at Coveris in Sibley, Iowa for 28 years, until he retired. Robert enjoyed cruising around the area and being with his family. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ashton. Robert passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Sanford Senior Care in Sheldon. Those left to cherish his memories are his brothers, Daniel and wife Norma Budden of Sheldon, IA, Bill and wife Sue Budden of Ashton, IA; his sister, Dianne Gipple McCurdy and husband Patrick McCurdy of Atlantic, IA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Ken Gipple; and two nephews, Dan Budden and Tim Budden. In Loving Memory Of Robert R.
