RANDALL J. “RANDY” FORKENBROCK

Randall John Forkenbrock was born on November 21, 1951 in Sheldon, Iowa, the son of Fred and Betty (Van Rennes) Forkenbrock. Randy attended Sheldon Community School and graduated from Sioux Rapids Community School. After graduation he enlisted into the United States Navy. After being discharged from the Navy, Randy worked for Viking Hydraulics in Lakeland, Florida as a hydraulic pump salesman. After his retirement he moved to Sheldon in 2015. Randy passed away at his residence on Friday, November 24, 2017 reaching the age of 66 years and 3 days.

Randy was a sports enthusiast. He also followed the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Rick (Marilyn) Forkenbrock of Cherokee, Iowa, Becky (James) Polmanteer of Laughlin, Nevada, Tom Forkenbrock of Chicago, Illinois; sister-in-law, Beth Forkenbrock of Mesa, Arizona; brother-in-law, John Nichols of Storm Lake, Iowa; many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Scott Forkenbrock and Kathy Nichols.
