Paul was a member of the Primghar Fire Department from 1958 1984. He enjoyed his daily routine on checking out the town and on his animals. He always had a friendly smile and wave to everyone that would pass by. He enjoyed being around children, as he always had a Tootsie pop on hand. Paul enjoyed tinkering with cars and motorcycles. He rode with the Sons of Silence for many years.
Left to cherish his memory is his nieces and nephews, other relatives and many close friends.
