Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina with Rev. Lucas Booher, officiating.
Burial will be at Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina.
Visitation with family present will be from 10 A.M. until service time on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina.

Patricia Dale Hinz, the daughter of Harry “Swede” and Evelyn (Fisher) Nordin was born on December 21, 1945. She grew up in Lytton, Iowa and was a member of the class of 1964. She married Lester Baskerville and moved to Manson, Iowa and to this union, three children were born, Steve, Tim and Gina. Later in life she continued her education at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge and later Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa earning her bachelor's degree of arts in 1985. She worked various secretarial jobs throughout her life. She later married Steven Hinz and they moved to Paullina, Iowa. Pat and Steve enjoyed many road trips visiting family. She cherished her many trips to Minnesota with her family. After Steve passed away, Pat moved down to Osceola, Iowa to be near her daughter. Pat enjoyed her trips out to eat with family. Going to the movies and bowling alley with the kids. She passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, reaching the age of 78 years, 6 months and 15 days.
Pat was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina where she sang in the choir, she was also a member of the Paulina Wan-Tan-Ye Sorority. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to read, and watch football, especially the Iowa Hawkeyes and Minnesota Vikings. Her time at the care center she made some very special relationships with the staff. She made them smile and laugh when they were having a tough time. One person called her their special angel on earth! She was very pampered while she was there.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dr. Steven (Sandy) Baskerville of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Timothy Baskerville of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Gina (Wayne) Morris of Osceola, Iowa and special son, Tracy (Teresa) Johnson of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; grandchildren, Stephanie (Brad) Clark of Estherville, Iowa, Samuel and Sawyer Baskerville of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Lucas (Laura) Booher of Storm Lake, Iowa, Zachary (Nicole) Johnson of Smithville, Missouri, and Ashley (Grant) Henry of Osceola, Iowa; great grandchildren, Boone and Leighton Clark, Steven, Daniel and Andrew Booher, Everly and Nolan Johnson and Colt and Colby Henry; sister, Tammy (Scott) Ramlo of Roscoe, Illinois; nieces, Amy and Alyssa and nephews, Chris and Dan; also other relatives and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Eveyln Nordin, husband, Steven Hinz, sister, Peggy Nordin, brother-in-law, Dudley Hinz and grandson, Spenser Baskerville.
