MICHAEL R. ROHLFSEN
Michael Rodney Rohlfsen, the son of Glenn W. and Violet (Olson) Rohlfsen was born January 13, 1956 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He received his education in Meriden-Cleghorn schools graduating with the class of 1974. He furthered his education at the Spencer School of Business. He lived for many years in LeMars where he operated an auto body repair shop known as Classic Reactions and was known by many as the Rodfather. He also worked for many years as an over the road truck driver. On March 14, 2014, he was united in marriage to Debbie Bromwich in LeMars, Iowa. After their marriage they made their home in Calumet, Iowa. Mike passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Cherokee Regional Medical Center in Cherokee, Iowa reaching the age of 58 years, 4 months and 24 days.
He enjoyed Harley Davison motorcycles and loved to ride.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Debbie of Calumet, Iowa; a daughter, Staci Morgan of LeMars, Iowa; two sons, Chad Rohlfsen of LeMars, Iowa and Bo and his wife, Olga Rohlfsen of Seattle, Washington; two step-children, Shannon Miller of Ocala, Florida and Randy Miller Jr. of Cairo, Nebraska; Grandchildren, Ashton and Sierra Thompson, Averie Morgan, Caiside Rohlfsen, Aviva, Titus and Caeli Rohlfsen; step granddaughter, Siera Miller; two sisters, Diana and her husband, Charles Foster and Louise McCullough all of Storm Lake, Iowa; also other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Violet and brother-in-law, Larry McCullough.
