Visitation with family present will be from 5 to 7 P.M. on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina.

Mark passed away peacefully at his home in Paullina IA, with family, friends, and Teddy, his loyal dog at his side.
Mark was born in Iowa City to John and Diana Jean Francis Myers. He came into the world with his own set of rules. From an early age, Mark was very competitive. He was a high school state wrestler in Erie, IL. Mark had many wins to be very proud of. Mark was a very skilled union carpenter, for which he fully enjoyed working with his hands. There was no end to his capabilities. Mark headed to Northern Iowa because of his love for trucking. He started hauling local grain and then received an offer to drive for Roseland. With Mark’s unwavering work ethic, he set out to achieve his dreams for stability. His great determination and assistance of his loving wife, he was able to build Mark Myers Trucking LLC. D.B.A M and M Express.
With the support of his love of 28 years, Kimberly A. Myers, they were able to reach for and obtain anything within their grasp for their family. Mark and Kim married at their home on October 4th, 2021. Mark loved the challenge of investments, whether it be silver, gold, collectables, vintage cars, motorcycles or trucks. There was always a grand discussion about the great deals he would obtain. Mark was a wonderful father to all his children which he adored completely including his stepchildren he loved as his own. Mark was a die-hard Chicago Bears fan, while Kim loves the Dallas Cowboys, which made it very entertaining on game day. His humor was very infectious. It was always a great time with family and friends, he made sure of that. Mark will be dearly missed by all that he touched within their hearts. His love for his family was so strong, and he was a great provider to the ones he cared deeply for.
Mark is survived by his parents John and Barb Myers of Cordova IL, his wife Kimberly (Marx) Myers of Paullina IA, his daughter Casey Jo Baker (Logan) of Sanborn, IA, his son Andrew Myers (Alexus) of Paullina, IA, his daughter Allison Myers of Paullina, IA, his daughter Jennifer Rank (Kyle) of Webster City, IA and his daughter Britny Fortune (Seth) of Paullina, IA. His grandchildren: Zoie, Bella, Xander, Koltin, Bohdi, Emma, Paisley, Olivia, Freya, Alexis, Elaina, William, and K’Lonnie. His sisters: Kimberly Rice (Dan) of Washburn Iowa, Teressa Xiong (Pao) of Primghar IA, Angela Boelens of Rock Island IL, Annette Simmons (Greg) of Cordova IL, Amy Benning (Greg) of Davenport IA, Erin Barton (Doug) of Dubuque IA, Marie Mulligan (Mike) of Windthrop IA.
Brother Tommy (Melissa) of Primghar IA, step brother David Weiss (Marie) of Paullina IA. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who love him dearly.
Mark is proceeded in death by his mother Diana Jean Francis Klepper, his paternal grandparents Alvi Clarence Francis and Mary Ruth Sims Francis, fraternal grandparents Orvil and Ruth Myers, his paternal Aunt Avril Lashley, his maternal brother James Dale Barber, maternal Aunt Judy Lowrey, maternal Aunt Sharon Simpson and maternal nephew Shawn Barber.
