MARCELLA L. FITZNER
Marcella Lee Fitzner, the daughter of Howard Spooner and Gladys Rose was born July 28th, 1958 in Kansas City, KS. At an early age, she moved with her family to the Spencer, Iowa area. There she received her education and graduated from Spencer High School in 1977. Marcy was united in marriage to Greg Fitzner in May of 1978 in Spencer, Iowa. They were blessed with 3 sons; Arthur, Howard, and Allan. Marcy lived in several communities in NW Iowa, finally settling in Primghar. She passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska, reaching the age of 56 years old.
Marcy was known for her fantastic sense of humor and always smiling and laughing, with her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a huge heart, and would give nearly anything for those she loved. Her nieces and nephews remember her as a friend who was always there with advice and was very protective, when needed.
Marcy is survived in death by her children, Arthur Fitzner of Primghar, IA; Howard Fitzner also of Primghar, IA and Allan Fitzner and wife, Jennifer of Sheldon, IA; 3 grandchildren, Austin, Aiden, and Carter; seven siblings, Delores, Shirley, Ricky, Norman (Ann), Judy (Raymond Vogel), Colleen (Kenny Hoffard) and Loren; one half brother, Richard; as well as many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three half siblings, Alton, Glen, and Cora and one granddaughter, Angel.
Marcy was loved very much, and will be dearly missed.
