LOUISE K. HOOVER
Louise Kathryn Hoover, the daughter of George and Lena (Hentzes) Bourgonne was born February 3, 1918 in Seattle, Washington. As an infant she was adopted by her father and moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. There she received her education and graduated from high school in Indianapolis. She was united in marriage to William Thomas Hoover on May 10, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The couple moved to Oakland, California where she could be closer to her parents. Louise worked as a clerk and as a warehouseman at the Naval Air Station in Alameda, California. William passed away December 31, 1970 in San Francisco, California. Louise lived in an apartment in Livermore, California until December of 2005, when she became a resident in a nursing home in Livermore, California. She moved to Iowa in January of 2008 with her daughter. Louise passed away on Monday, April 21, 2008 at the Sanford Medical Center ~ Senior Care in Sheldon, reaching the age of 90 years, 2 months and 18 days.
Louise was a member of the Christian Science Faith. She enjoyed playing cards and traveling.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Beverly Huston and her friend, Charles Spencer of Archer, Iowa; a granddaughter, Sheryl Lynn Warner of Pleasanton, California; and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Steven Christopher Warner; her parents and a sister, Margaret Bernhardt.
