A few years after the death of her husband John, she moved to Chesapeake OH, where she lived with her daughter Elaine and son-in-law Kerry Tutt.
However, she always kept up-to-date on what was happening back in Iowa through her subscriptions to the local newspapers, and remembered with affection the years that Northwest Iowa was her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband John and her daughter Elaine. She is survived by her son, the Rev. Roger Uittenbogaard and his wife the Rev. Suzanne Uittenbogaard of Lebanon, PA, her son-in-law Kerry Tutt of Chesapeake who was a loving caregiver for her during her last years, and her grandson Jeffrey Tutt and his wife Catherine of Columbus, Ohio.
