Visitation with the family present will be from 5 to 7 P.M. Sunday, April 25, 2010 at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Primghar, with a Scripture Wake service at 7P.M. Sunday at the church, the Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home of Primghar is in charge of arrangements.

LEON H. EINCK
Leon H. Einck, the son of Dominick and Loretta (Hoffman) Einck was born April 8, 1929 in Wilmont, Minnesota. He received his education in a country school near Wilmont. On September 25, 1950, he was united in marriage to Edna Oldre in Wilmont. After their marriage the couple made their home in Wilmont, where the couple farmed and operated a truck line. The couple moved to Primghar, Iowa in 1958 and they established Einck Trucking, which they operated until his retirement in 1995. Leon and Edna had operated a truck line for 50 years. The couple’s retirement years were spent in Primghar. He passed away at the Primghar Care Center on Saturday, April 17, 2010 reaching the age of 81 years and 9 days.
He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Primghar. He enjoyed fishing, helping out on the farm and visiting. He was known to have his special pets.
Leon is survived by his wife, Edna of Primghar; seven children, Marvin and his wife, Mary Einck of Primghar; Jean and her husband, Mike Theisen of Marcus; Roger and his wife, Jane Einck of Primghar; Betty and her husband, Mark Fischer of Sioux City; Steven and his wife, Lori Einck of Primghar; Joseph and his wife, Traci Einck of Primghar and L. Paul Einck of Primghar; 23 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one brother, Gary and his wife, Sharon Einck of Huntington Beach, California; also other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dominick and Loretta; a grandson, Jason Einck in 1991; two great-grandchildren, twins Christine and Jeannie Fischer in infancy and one brother, Arvid Einck.
