LARRY S. TOWE
Larry Spencer Towe, the son of Severn E. and Helen Maud (Waldhelm) Towe was born on June 13, 1937 on the family farm northeast of Paullina. He received his education in Paullina schools, graduating from Paullina High School in 1955. He was employed at the Paullina Grain for many years until 1978, when he began operating the Hawkeye Bar in Paullina, which he operated until the time of his death. He passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2006 at the Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa, reaching the age of 69 years, 5 months and 17 days.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, bowling and especially in operating his bar in taking care of his customers.
Larry is survived by a brother, Donald and his wife Jane Towe of Carrollton, Texas; a sister-in-law, Orle Towe of Paullina and a brother-in-law, Jack Turner of Covington, Texas; a special friend of 26 years, Dorothy Beermann of Paullina and her family, Lori and Jim Burmakow and daughters, Sara, Megan and Terri Beermann and son, Jamie; also many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
