Kyle L. Kreykes, age 52, of Rock Valley, Iowa and formerly of Sheldon, Iowa, passed away in Rock Valley. His funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church in Sheldon with Pastor Kevin Muyskens ~ officiating.
Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon.
Visitation with family present will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Immanuel Christian Reformed Church in Sheldon.
The Andringa Funeral Home in Sheldon is in charge of arrangements.

Kyle Lee Kreykes the son of Dennis and Doris (Ten Kley) Kreykes was born August 28, 1971 in Sheldon, Iowa. He received his education and graduated from high school at Central Lyon High School in Rock Rapids, Iowa. He moved to Rock Valley and was associated with Hope Haven in Rock Valley. While in Rock Valley, he was employed as a machine operator at Double H Manufacturing. He passed away at his home in Rock Valley on June 24, 2024 reaching the age of 52 years, 9 months and 26 days.
He was employed with Double H Manufacturing in Rock Valley for 24 years. He was a hard worker and never missed a day of work. He was proud at being a long-time employee. While at Hope Haven they helped Kyle learn about skills to become an independent person. He learned skills to be able to live on his own. Kyle soon was able to live independently when services from Hope Haven was stopped. Kyle faced many challenges during his life but he was able to overcome these and succeed in many areas of his life.
He liked to fish and had a big collection of movies that he loved and would watch them often. His biggest wish was to have his home of his own. He was so happy when he bought the house and lived more independently. God gave Kyle’s parents the gift of a special needs child. They always helped Kyle whenever they could and was always loved for who he was.
Kyle’s memory is cherished by his parents, Denny and Doris Kreykes of Sheldon, Iowa; two brothers, Brett (Sheila) Kreykes and their children, Emilee, Brenden, Derek and Delaine all of Rock Valley, Iowa; brother, Dan Kreykes of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. Uncles Rick (Barb) Kreykes of Sioux Center, Iowa; Keith (Bernice) Kreykes of Sheldon, Iowa; aunts Shirley Peterson of Alta, Iowa and Ellen Twaddle of Englewood, Florida also other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
