KERISSA “ANGEL” JOY BEEK
Kerissa “Angel” Joy Beek, the daughter of John A. and Kathlyn “Kathy” (Zuiderhof) Beek, was born October 9, 1985 in Sheldon, Iowa. She attended River Valley in Rock Valley for 14 years; last year she attended the Area 4 Classroom in Sheldon and was presently attending Area 4 in Sibley. She passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at the Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, reaching the age of 19 years, 6 months and 4 days.
Kerissa was a baptized member of the First Reformed Church in Boyden. She enjoyed music and always enjoyed being with her brothers, her sister, and her other relatives. Kerissa touched the hearts of everyone that got to know her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, John and Kathy Beek of Boyden, IA; 3 brothers and a sister, Jason and his wife, Angie Beek and their children Jonathan Beek; Brandon, Matthew and Michael Kirchner of Sioux Falls, SD; Alana and her husband, Chad Goeringer and their children, Chase and Alyssa of Greenwood, MO; Jay Beek and his fiancée, Linda Van Heerde of Harrisburg, SD; Justin Beek of Sioux City, IA; a special aunt and uncle, Lisa and Roger Nelson and their children, Kayla, Kelsey and Bryce of Boyden, IA; and a close friend and teacher, Marilyn Vanden Hoek; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
“Who plucked the rose?” the gardener cried, his fellow servant replied, “The Master did.”
The gardener held his peace.
