Blair, age 81, of Ocheyedan, Iowa who passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Sanford Senior Care in Sheldon.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon with Rev. Richard Milbrandt ~ officiating.

     Kathleen Ann Blair, the daughter of Lawrence and Dorothy (Rowles) Kleespie was born on February 27, 1942, in Morris, Minnesota.  After graduation she attended a technical school.  She was united in marriage to Larry Blair on February 16, 1963, in Morris, Minnesota.  After their marriage the couple moved to Spokane, Washington where Kathy worked for the Washington Air National Guard as a computer manager for 39 years, retiring in 2005.  Larry and Kathy remained in Spokane until moving to Ocheyedan in 2022.  Kathy passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, reaching the age of 81 years, 10 months, and 17 days.

     Kathy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ocheyedan.

     Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Blair of Ocheyedan; siblings, Larry Kleespie of Morris, Minnesota, Karen Goldenstein of West St. Paul, Minnesota, Marilyn Peterson of Wabasha, Minnesota, Doris Staples of Flagstaff, Arizona, Susan Long of Wilson Creek, Oregon, Mary Alice Matzke of Eyota, Minnesota, Jim Kleespie of Alexandria, Minnesota, Bruce Kleespie of Madison, Wisconsin, Bob Kleespie of Lady Lake, Florida, and Bill Kleespie of Tucson, Arizona; also other relatives and friends.

     Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Dorothy and siblings, Marjorie Larsen, JoAnn Neitzel, LaVonne Syverson and Richard Kleespie.
