Karen K. Fiddelke, age 81, of Sheldon, who passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at her home. Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 11, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheldon with Pastor Daniel Baker ~ officiating.
Masks are required at the church.
Burial at Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina will be held at a later date.

Karen Fiddelke was born on October 18, 1939 in Paullina, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Cecelia (Hansen) Cooper. She graduated from Paullina High School in 1958. On September 28, 1958 she married Wallace H. Fiddelke. They made their home in Ft. Benning, Georgia for two years while Wallace was in the service, and moved back to Germantown, Iowa where they farmed until 1968, when they purchased Champlin Super Service. In July 1989, they sold the gas station and moved to Sheldon, Iowa. Karen worked at several nursing homes. Her first concern was always for the patient.
Karen was a member at St. Paul Lutheran Church all her years in Sheldon. She enjoyed her flowers and garden, grandchildren, and beating Wally in all kinds of games to which she kept track of who won for 20 years.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 62 years, Wallace Fiddelke, children, Warren Fiddelke, Wayne (Tami) Fiddelke, Wesley (Keri) Fiddelke, Melissa (Richard) Noack; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence, and Cecelia; brothers, Jim and Vernon, sister, Colleen Mugge and a grandson, Jordan Fiddelke.
