JUNIOR EDWARD TESCH

Junior Edward Tesch, the son of Edward and Minnie (Lange) Tesch was born March 7, 1929 in Caledonia Township of O’Brien County, Iowa. He received his education at St. John Lutheran School in Germantown. He began farming with his dad and later farmed near Germantown for himself for many years. He and his sister, Catherine moved into Paullina in 1990. Junior’s retirement years were spent in Paullina where he enjoyed playing cards and visiting with family and friends. He also enjoyed going to dinner date in Primghar during the week days. Junior passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Orange City Area Health System in Orange City, Iowa reaching the age of 81 years, 6 months and 25 days.
He was baptized on March 21, 1929 and later confirmed on May 21, 1944 and was a lifelong member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Germantown.
Junior is survived by his twin sister, Eunice Johnson of Cherokee, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Tesch of Paullina; one nephew, Tom and his wife, Peggy Tesch of Paullina; four nieces and their husbands, Tammy and Larry Rozeboom of Spencer; LaVonne and Ronald Bryant of Cherokee; Beverly and Mike Sprouse of Aurelia and Ronda and Bryan LaCour of Lake Park; great niece and nephew Cory Bryant and Amanda LaCour; also other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Catherine Tesch and one brother, Wallace Tesch.
