Services for Judy K. Wallin, age 83, of Paullina who passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Orange City Area Health System. Her funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Donald Meyer, officiating.
Burial will be at Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina.
Visitation with family present will be from 10 A.M. until service time on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina.
Arrangements are under the care of the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina.

Judy Kay Wallin, the daughter of Elmer and Lillian Lange, was born on April 29, 1940. Judy was baptized at home on May 13, 1940, and confirmed on April 1, 1954, at St John’s Lutheran Church in Germantown. She attended grade school at St John Lutheran School in Germantown and graduated from Paullina High School in 1958. Judy was a twirler in the marching band and sang in girl’s glee and mixed chorus. After graduating she attended beauty school in Sioux City. Judy married Gene Wallin on February 14, 1960, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Germantown. Gene and Judy were married for 62 years. They had two children, Steven Gene, and Sandra Kae.
Gene and Judy farmed and raised livestock south of Paullina. Judy worked for Dr. Schultz the dentist, Ebel’s Department Store and Barama Drug. Judy was active in Sunday school and sang in the choir at Zion Lutheran Church. She liked to bowl and enjoyed meeting with her friends for breakfast or coffee. She enjoyed going to her children and grandchildren’s activities. She loved watching the Iowa Hawkeyes on TV. Most of all she loved family.
Judy is survived by her children, Steve, and Sue (Bjork) Wallin and Sandra and Jim Fritz. Her grandchildren, Taylor Wallin, Travis, and Abby (DeRidder) Wallin, Shara Wallin, Jake Wallin, and Christian Fritz; her great grandchildren Maci Wallin, Zaidyn De May and Keegan Fritz. Plus, many other relatives and friends to honor her passing.
She is preceded in death by husband and her parents.
