JOSHUA D. ROOS
Joshua Dean Roos, the son of Derick and Marla (Van Diepen) Roos, was born December 7, 1984 in Sheldon, Iowa. He received his education first at River Valley School in Rock Valley and later from Sheldon schools, graduating from Sheldon High School in 2005. In August of 2005, he moved to the Village Northwest Unlimited in Sheldon to make his home. He passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at the Northwest Iowa Health Center in Sheldon, reaching the age of 21 years, 4 months and 13 days.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sheldon. He enjoyed music, singing, walks, rides and wearing his sunglasses. His family, teachers associates and Village Staff were very special people to him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Derick and Marla Roos of Sheldon; a sister, Jessica Roos of Sheldon; his paternal grandfather, Byron Roos of Sheldon; his paternal grandmother, Carole Roos of Hospers; also aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Dorothy Van Diepen.
