JOEY L. STEINBECK
Joey Lee Steinbeck, the son of Gary and Barbara (Vaughn) Steinbeck, was born March 23, 1968 in Downey, California. He attended school at Hall Elementary School, Webster Junior High School and graduated from Clear Creek High School in League City, Texas in 1986. He enlisted in the United States Air Force on September 30, 1986 and served as a Security Specialist and he also served in Desert Storm, before being discharged on February 21, 1992. He moved back to Texas, where he was employed in Mental Health at the Deauvereux Hospital in League City, Texas and later working in propane transportation for Amerigas; he also worked as a juvenile transport agent. He passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 in Houston, Texas, reaching the age of 37 years, 8 months and 8 days.
He loved his dogs, Pepper, Dixie, Pewee; and Sissy, who just preceded him. He enjoyed sports, being a Houston Astro and Houston Rocket fan, he also enjoyed Nascar.
Left to cherish his memory, his parents, Gary and Barbara Steinbeck of Primghar, Iowa; a son, Sidney Steinbeck of Shreveport, Louisiana; a daughter, Haley Fulcher of Friendswood, Texas; his fiancée, and soul mate, Kathleen Molley, (who Joey was her Teddy Bear) of Alvin, Texas; two sisters, Christine and her husband, D.J. Zelczak of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; Joni and her husband, Joe Babka of Anchorage, Alaska; six brothers, Randy Harrison of Phoenix, Arizona; Kelly and his wife, Diane Steinbeck of Wasilla, Alaska; Gary Harrison of Texas City, Texas; Brett Steinbeck of Chicago, Illinois; Jeff and his wife, Michelle Harrison of Cullman, Alabama; Scott Steinbeck of Primghar, Iowa; also nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
