ETHEL I. MILLER
Ethel Irene Miller, the daughter of Roy and Emily (Rippon) Chapman, was born October 7, 1920 in Primghar, Iowa. She attended school and graduated from high school in Primghar, Iowa in 1938. On May 26, 1947, she married George J. Miller. They made their home in Primghar, Iowa in 1954. She was a baptized member of Primghar Church of Christ. She was a homemaker, liked to read and take walks.
She entered Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley, Iowa in November of 2010. She passed away on June 21, 2017 reaching the age of 96 years, 8 months and 14 days.
Ethel is survived by one daughter, Christa Farrell of Primghar, Iowa; two sons, Kerry Miller of Sheldon, Iowa; and George (Gloria) Miller of Middleburg, Iowa; six grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; son, Joel; great grandson, Steven Anderson; son-in-law, James Farrell; her parents, two brothers, Ernest and Harold Chapman; three sisters, Veara Stewart, Fay Simco and Inez Smith.
