Dorothy married Melvin Tesch on January 23, 1949. They lived and worked hard together on their farm northwest of Paullina for 34 years, before moving to their home in Paullina in 1983. They had four children, Keith and his wife, Macrina Tesch of Spencer, Iowa; Denise and her husband, Bob Edgar of Waverly, Iowa; Kevin and his wife, Lisa Tesch of Lake George, Colorado and Terry and his wife, Terri Lynn Tesch of Granville, Iowa.

Dorothy was a member of St. John’s Ladies Aid and the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved to garden and quilt. Her church and family were the most important things in her life. She was always thinking of everyone else and how she could help. We will always remember her most for this.
