DIANN M. RUSH
Diann Marie Rush, the daughter of Phillip and Wilhelmina Rush, was born May 5, 1947 in Waterville, Maine. She received her education and graduated from Clinton High School in Maine in 1965. In 1968, she moved to Arizona to make her home. While living in Mesa, Arizona Diann was involved with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Organization and she had worked for Big Lots. Due to ill health, she moved to Sheldon, Iowa to live with her daughter, Kimberly Mitts on December 8, 2010. She passed away at her daughter’s home on February 20, 2011, reaching the age of 63 years, 9 months and 15 days.
She enjoyed crocheting and teaching her little sister to crochet. She also enjoyed scrap booking.
Diann is survived by Albert Flores, the love of her life, with whom she has spent the last 20 years with; her daughter, Kimberly and her husband, Buddy Mitts of Sheldon, Iowa; a grandson, Dustin and his wife, Dan’elle Perry of Sheldon, Iowa; her mother, Wilhelmina Rush of Mesa, Arizona; and 7 brothers and sisters, Jack and (Sonia) Rush; Sharon Pound; Joan and (Robert) Sandoval; Nancy and (Kenneth) Collette; Rhonda and (Brad) Lord; Pamela and (Lee) Goodin; Cindy Howell and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Sumner Rush Sr.; and a brother, Skipper Jr.
