Dean Allen Klein, age 49, of Hospers, Iowa passed on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the Sanford Sheldon Medical Center in Sheldon, Iowa. His services will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the Immanuel Christian Reformed Church in Sheldon, Iowa with Rev. Kevin Muyskens ~ officiating. The service will be livestreamed on Immanuel Christian Reformed Church's website.
Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 with the family present from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Immanuel Christian Reformed Church in Sheldon.
Arrangements are under the care of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home - Sheldon.

DEAN ALLAN KLEIN
Dean Allan (Deano) Klein the son of Gerald and Margaret (Croatt) Klein was born April 10, 1971 in Orange City, Iowa. After attending St. Patrick’s School in Sheldon, he remained living on the family farm to help his father with the farm. On September 1, 2012, he was united in marriage to Stacy Ann Wiersma at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church in Sheldon, Iowa. Dean owned his own truck to haul livestock and grain. He enjoyed farming, custom feeding pigs, raising baby calves, and having a few hens.
He loved to attend tractor pulls, being with friends and attending family gatherings; the Klein Family Picnic, holidays, birthdays and weddings. Dean competed in Burn Out Contests in which he won several trophies. A highlight of each year was his July Firework Show, which got bigger and better every year.
Dean is survived by his wife, Stacy of Hospers, Iowa; six siblings, Kathy Heil of Stewartville, Minnesota; Randy (Patty) Klein of Sibley, Iowa; Pete (Pam) Klein of Rock Rapids, Iowa; Larry (Sissie) Klein of Ashton, Iowa; Eva (Brian) Priebe of Maynard, Minnesota and Myron (Lisa) Klein of Sheldon, Iowa; mother-in-law, Helinda Wiersma of Hull, Iowa; also a host of other relatives and friends.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Margaret Klein, father-in-law, David Wiersma and brother-in-law, Glen Heil.
