Daniel Richter, age 59, of Paullina passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina with Rev. Donald Meyer ~ officiating.
Burial will be at Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina.
Visitation will be after 3 P.M. on Thursday, May 20, 2021 with family present from 5 – 7 P.M. at the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina.
Masks are recommended for both services.

DANIEL L. RICHTER
Daniel Leonard Richter, the son of Leonard and Ardelle (Westphal) Richter was born on March 7, 1962 in Primghar, Iowa. He grew up in rural northwest Iowa. He graduated from Paullina High School in 1981. On June 19, 1982, he was united in marriage to Sandra Rohde at Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina. After their marriage the couple remained in Paullina. Dan worked for Land O’ Lakes in Sheldon for 21 years and for the last 9 years he worked for First Coop in Paullina driving truck. Dan passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at his residence reaching the age of 59 years, 2 months and 9 days.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina. Dan enjoyed to fish, riding his motorcycle, 4-wheeling, enjoyed eating out. He especially loved his red Ford’s.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sandy; siblings and their spouses, Nancy and Darrell Clendinnen of Hays, Kansas; Kathy and Ross Miller of Primghar, Iowa; Jane and Curt Zimmerman of Castle Rock, Colorado; his mother-in-law, Joan Rohde of Paullina; brother-in-law, Steve Rohde of Paullina; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Todd; father-in-law, Burdette Rohde; and niece, Melissa Havlik.
