DALE M. RUNGE
Dale Martin Runge, the son of Fritz and Ella (Puhrmann) Runge was born November 19, 1935 on the family farm near Calumet in O’Brien County, Iowa. He attended school in Larabee, Iowa and after his education; he was employed as a farm hand in the Larabee area. Dale had made his home in Larabee and had served on the Larabee Fire Department. He passed away at the Cherokee Villa Nursing and Rehab Center on Monday, February 13, 2006, reaching the age of 70 years, 2 months and 24 days.
He was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ in Calumet, Iowa.
Dale is survived by five sisters, Dorothy Beermann and Alice Halstrom both of Paullina, Iowa; Delores and her husband, Earl Shilling of Sutherland, Iowa; Shirley Runge of Cherokee, Iowa; Betty Strilka of Omaha, Nebraska; a brother, David Runge of Sutherland, Iowa; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roger.
