CURTIS A. McCLINTIC
Curtis Allen Curt McClintic, the son of Harry and Thelma (Blum) McClintic was born November 8, 1958 in Storm Lake, Iowa. He attended school in Schaller, Iowa and graduated from Schaller High School in 1978. After high school he worked as a meat cutter in different grocery stores. Curt was united in marriage to Amber Jacobsma on July 6, 1985 in Hartley, Iowa. The couple lived in Arizona for a year, before moving to Sheldon to make their home. Curt then worked for DEMCO Manufacturing in Boyden, Iowa in the shipping department. Curt passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the Unity Point Health-St. Lukes Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa, reaching the age of 57 years and 1 day.
Curt was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sheldon, the Sheldon Eagle Club 2297, Sheldon Golf & Country Club and the I Club. He enjoyed golfing and loved sports especially the Iowa Hawkeyes, the New York Jets and the Celtics.
Curt is survived by his wife, Amber of 30 years; his three brothers, Dennis (Pat) McClintic of DeWitt, IA; Mel (Vicki) McClintic of Glenwood, IA; Ron (Julie) McClintic of Schaller, IA; three sisters, Roma (Jim) Lorenzen of Linn Grove, IA; Diane Peters of Sheldon, IA; Michelle (Randy) Jensen of Sioux City Iowa; his mother-in-law, Irma Jacobsma of Hartley, IA; and two sisters-in-law,Jeanette Gerth of Rogers, MN; Mona (Mike) Scaletta of Sioux City, IA; two brothers-in-law, Greg Jacobsma of Hartley, IA and Mark (Paula) Jacobsma of Sioux Center, IA; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Keith and LaDon Mac McClintic and his father-in-law, Marvin Jacobsma.
