BLANCHE E. PEARSON

Blanche Emma Pearson, the daughter of William and Adela (Thoms) Meyer was born January 3, 1920 at her parents farm home in rural Calumet, Iowa. She attended country school and graduated from Calumet High School. Blanche was a long time Paullina resident and worked for many years cleaning houses and businesses in the Paullina area. In her retirement years she lived at the family home until moving to the Sutherland Care Center and later moving to the Prairie View Retirement Home in Sanborn on January 2, 2014. She passed away at Prairie View on Wednesday January 29, 2014 reaching the age of 94 years and 26 days.
Blanche is survived by a son-in-law Jerry Ommen of Tama, Iowa, two grandsons Jason Ommen and Josh and his wife Krissy Ommen and great grandsons Alec, Blake and Eric Ommen all of Kansas City, Missouri, a sister Luetta Carlson of Sanborn also other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Carol Ommen, parents William and Adela, sisters Helen and one in infancy.
