Beverly Ann Rozeboom, age 86, of Sheldon, Iowa passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the Sanford Senior Care in Sheldon, Iowa. Her Funeral Service will be at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sheldon, Iowa with Fr. Tim Hogan ~ Officiating.
Burial will be held in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Sheldon, Iowa.
Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00~7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, with a St. Patrick Catholic Church Ladies Guild Rosary at 7:15 P.M. at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon.

Beverly A. Rozeboom, the daughter of, Martin F. ‘Ole’ and Delores (Breuer) Schwarz was born March 9, 1937 South East of Ashton, Iowa on a farm in a blizzard. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School in Ashton, Iowa. On February 28, 1959, she was united in marriage to Vernon Lee Rozeboom in Sheldon, Iowa. The couple made their home on a farm south of Sheldon, near Vern’s folks. In 1963, they moved into Sheldon. Vern and Bev bought a farm east of Sheldon in 1972, where they farmed until his retirement. Bev worked for JCPenney as a store clerk for 30 years. She cared diligently and selflessly for her husband, Vern until his passing on March 11, 2012, Bev remained on the farm place until moving into the Sanford Senior Care in Sheldon where she passed away on Sunday reaching the age of 86 years, 7 months and 6 days.
Bev was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, St. Patrick Catholic Church Ladies Guild, CDofA, Missionary Society and the Garden Club all in Sheldon. Bev enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, she was a farmgirl at heart, helping out was her Joy, driving tractors, she loved her cows and worked alongside Dan to continue with the farming for many years. Beverly was a private and a giving selfless virtuous Catholic woman. Her faith was her life, prayers, rosaries and going to daily mass with her sister, Geri was the focus to the beginning of her day every day. She led all of her family by her example. But she loved her grandchildren they were her pride and joy, especially her beautiful granddaughters and handsome grandsons.
Bev is survived by her five children, Bill Rozeboom (Lora) Rozeboom of Sheldon; Theresa (Ed) Vondrak of Hinton, Iowa; Dan (Janna) Rozeboom of Sheldon; Dee Houtsma of Boyden and Tim Rozeboom of Ashton; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; a sister, Geri (Jim) Konz of Hospers and a brother, Herman (Dorothy) Schwarz of Sheldon; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern; her parents, Martin F. ‘Ole’ and Delores Schwarz; her in-laws, Lammert J. and Edith Rozeboom; her sisters, Phyllis and Dale Harbst; Norma and Dean Siekeman; Joyce and Ernie Paulson and a brother Donald Schwarz.
