ARNOLD H. OHME
Arnold Hector Ohme, the son of Hans and Alma (Johannsen) Ohme, was born October 26, 1924 in Paullina, Iowa. He received his education in schools in O’Brien County later graduating from high school. He moved to California where for many years he was employed at the Lockheed Corporation as an inspector of airplanes. In May of 1965, he was united in marriage to Cinnie Roberts in Las Vegas, Nevada. After their marriage the couple lived in Burbank, California and Arnie continued to work for Lockheed until his retirement in 1985. The couple moved to Paullina at that time to make their home. Their retirement years were spent in Paullina. He passed away at the Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, reaching the age of 83 years, 4 months and 1 day.
He enjoyed cars and motor homes, playing golf and cards.
Arnie is survived by his wife, Cinnie of Paullina; one son and his wife, Bill and Dorathy DeWitt of Portland, Oregon; a grandson, Michael DeWitt; and two great-grandchildren, Logan and Skyler DeWitt; a sister-in-law, Neva Ohme of Paullina; also other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Norman.
