ARLO B. HAGEN
Arlo B. Hagen, the son of Swen and Ella (Rosedale) Hagen was born August 27, 1910 in Gaza, Iowa. He received his education in country school. On November 30, 1937, he was united in marriage to Anna K. Buse in Primghar, Iowa. To this union four children were born. After their marriage, the couple made their home in Primghar, where Arlo was engaged in farming and for several years was employed at the Gaudian Funeral Homes, before moving to Emerald, Wisconsin. While in Emerald, Arlo helped his son working in the greenhouse business. Anna preceded him in death on April 1, 1997 in Emerald. He remained in the Emerald area until moving to the St Croix Health Center to make his home. He passed away at the health center on Friday, October 26, 2007 reaching the age of 97 years, 1 month and 29 days.
Arlo is survived by two sons; Marvin and his wife, Marilyn Hagen of Emerald, Wisconsin and Keith and his wife, Bonnie Hagen of Chaska, Minnesota; two daughters, Nelda and her husband, Dan Koestler of Yucca, Arizona and Reva and her husband, Rick Stephenson of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota; also nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one sister, Gladys Skaar of Primghar; also other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers and five sisters.
