Dale was a member of Immanuel Christian Reformed Church in Sheldon. His faith was very important to him. He had a passion for worship and prayer. He spent much of his life putting his faith into action by meeting the needs of others and helping them to develop and grow in their relationship to God. He saw the good in people and helped many people, to have better lives. He made many trips to help those in need, in places like Mississippi, Texas, as well as many others. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was close with his brothers and sisters. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His children and grandchildren were his greatest joy and he was their hero.
