ANNA M. McGREEVEY

Anna Margaret McGreevey, the daughter of William and Catherine (Feddersen) Peters, was born April 9, 1908 in Sutherland, Iowa. She attended Sutherland schools and graduated from Sutherland High School. She went on to attend college both in Lincoln, Nebraska and in New York. She spent most of her life in Iowa living in LeMars, Hinton and Spencer and she worked in the lakes area as a salad chef. She had also lived in Minnesota and Florida and when she retired, she retired to Sutherland. She moved to the Sutherland Care Center in June of 1997. Anna passed away at the care center on Thursday, October 25, 2007 reaching the age of 99 years, 6 months and 16 days.
She enjoyed cooking and gardening
Anna is survived by three daughters, Lana and her husband, Raynard Appeldorn of Paullina; Shirley Locker and Pamela Haley both of Wichita, Kansas; also grandchildren, Brenda Foreman, Mike Appeldorn and Russell Appeldorn, Matthew and Adam Haley; great grandchildren, Joey Van Ort, Andy Appeldorn, Morgan and Marshall Appeldorn; a sister, Catharine Peters of Sutherland; a brother, Donald Peters of Larrabee, Iowa; also nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Arnold Peters.
